Last night at Luxy was a blast, I love the club in taiepi much more than in singapore. Why? cos it is not so squeezy and it is much bigger, the crowd was quite international and the music spinning by the DJ was awesome. At every hour interval, the luxy girls will come out to dance to 3-4 songs and wow the audience with their hot, sexy dance moves. They were scantily clad and they just wowed the audience with their assets and looks. Entry to luxy was ex, at NT600 and only one free drink. I thought there would be free flow of drinks at the club but it was sexxxy wednesday ladies night. The crowd was a good mixture of locals, caucasians and quite a handful of singaporeans as well. It would be more fun if you went in a group. Their tables were big and comfy, they come with sofa seats and it offered good view of the dancefloor. I still remember last year in taiwan, we opened bottles in the kaohsiung club and I got really high. But last night I had one drink only, so was not that esctatic, but I enjoyed partying the night away with my new friends and the R&B music.
This morning, all of us woke up late and we went to houshanpi station which is near the wufenpu shopping district for lunch. Joey and me had oyster and fish slice soup. It was really delicious and I totally love the succulent fresh oysters. Apparently the store is popular and with many commendations as there were many locals who visited it and newspaper cuttings adorn its walls. After lunch, we spent 4-5 hours shopping at wufenpu. I could not really find much menswear, the price was either too expensive or the clothes do not have my size. For me I prefer to shop at places where I can try on the clothes and there is a range of sizes available and the price is displayed prominently. Here at wufenpu only the discounted items are place at the front of the store on racks with the prices shown, but for the rest of the original-priced clothing, we have to ask the shopkeeper for the price.
After many hours of retail therapy, it was time for dinner. We decided to go to shilin night market again as there was some unique food that can only be found there. This time we tried new food such as the beef steak and mango ice. The beef was really succulent, juicy and tender. I like the generosity of the black pepper sauce provided. The beef was tender and the dish came with pasta and a sunny side up. yummy! We had some space left for dessert so we chose the mango ice dessert with carnation milk. I think that with the milk, it makes it more tasty.
