pain(TH)ball at JB today, it was my first time playing and I must say it was really fun. The sad thing was the rain came in the afternoon and we had to cut short our game. We played 3 rounds and were just about to enter the jungle when it rained heavily and we had to stop the game. In the end we had many balls left unused, wonder what is the company gona do with it cos we paid for 500 balls each. Perhaps they are gona sell the balls to the next group of people.


I slept over in TH the previous night, the last night in my own room before I have to check out and return the keys. In the morning, we assembled at the comm hall and the chartered bus took us to the paintball site. Crossing the causeway was effortless due to the automated clearance system and there was no traffic jam.


We arrived the the site around 10am and the weather was sunny. I was in JC’s team because someone in his group could not make it at the last minute. So I made new friends again, some of whom I have never seen in hall before because I am a phantom. At least I know 3 out of 10 in the team because these 3 stay in block D. 


I was quite noob at first cos I got shot at early in the game and had to retreat to base. The impact was not that great as I did not get a direct hit. Just that the paint squirted in my face and I had an unpleasant taste of the yellow paint which seeped through my helmet. My friends were not so fortunate, as seen from the open injuries on their body, which were bruised or superficial wounds. It looked quite painful for them. The third round I was more familiar and lasted till the end where my team defeated the opponents.


In the afternoon, we went to Tebrau City jusco for lunch and shopping. I had went there before so it was not interesting for me and the things in this shopping mall are not that cheap either. We had a delicious lunch at ‘Ichiban ramen’, the portion was huge and the noodles were the perfect texture. After spending 4 hours in the mall, we boarded the bus and headed back to Singapore.
